Our Mission
Our mission is to provide the best possible Physiotherapy care for our clients in a warm and friendly environment. In the first instance we do this by listening, asking questions, and conducting a thorough assessment. We then have an open conversation about goal development. What do you want to achieve by attending Physiotherapy and what are your goals? What is your injury or condition preventing you form doing and what steps do we take to getting you back to wellness and activities that you enjoy?
Our Physiotherapists are highly trained and skilled. We build our foundations of care on clinical best practice and innovation. Our environment is supportive, knowledgeable and collaborative. We understand that it is our job to listen, nurture, educate, empower, motivate and most importantly use the finely tuned skill sets of our Physiotherapists to meet the goals of our clients and to help them enjoy the simple joys in life that mean the most to them.
About us
The team of Physiotherapists at Bespoke have dedicated their careers to working with clients that have Neurological, Neuromuscular and Vestibular conditions. Our consultations are 60 - 90 minutes long depending on what your needs are. We tailor or sessions to the individual as our name suggests.
How do we treat?
Discussion - We want to get to know you. We want to know what is important to you, what is holding you back from your goals, large or small. This is the starting point, a turning point. We feel understanding these things are vital and we feel privilege to be part of the journey of recovery and well being. Often these questions are not asked, not listened to. We do.
Assessment - Whats going on? Lets take a look at the way you move.
Manual Therapies - We are a hands on clinic. Manual Therapies using Neurological and Neuromuscular techniques including the Bobath Approach are used by our Physiotherapists. We see the value of looking from the ground up, not just at your back or foot. Movement is whole body.
Treatment Plan - Your Physio will discuss a treatment plan with you based on your assessment and initial treatment. Collaboration is they key to this stage. Its about tying it into your goals. How do we help you walk more freely, how do we facility your return to running or help you gain better independence with walking? You and your Physio will work out a plan, consisting of treatment schedule, exercise regime, short and long term goals.
Education - Lets take a look at why you are experiencing these symptoms or pain and how we can help you to better manage them. Understanding is key and knowledge is powerful.
Exercise Prescription - We start small, ensuring that the quality of the movement is optimal. We work towards your goals, no matter how big or small.
Home Exercise Program - Our Physios will provide you with a Bespoke Home Exercise Program. These are not generic exercises they are tailored to the client and their current presentation and functionality.
Re-Assessment - Your Physio will discuss the next time they would like to see you. For most clients this is the following week. However sometimes intensive therapies will be prescribed or they may suggest a couple of sessions in a week.
Collaboration - We work closely with other Allied health practitioners, GP’s, Specialists, families and friends, NDIS Case Manager and other support providers.
Our therapist use hands on Neurological techniques, exercise prescription, clinical Pilates techniques, whether this be reformer, matwork, or small apparatus. We believe a collaborative approach works best and sometimes this means that you may work with one or many of the therapists in our team.
