What information will i be asked to supply before my Telehealth appointment?
If you are a new client we will assess your suitability for Telehealth by requesting the following information:
Diagnosis and reason for referral
Your current concerns
Correspondence from your Specialist, GP or other medical professionals
Scans and reports
What information will you collect from me?
New clients will be asked to complete the following forms:
New Client Intake Form
Questionnaires that relate to your condition or diagnosis
Safety assessment form if you are planning on undertaking virtual exercise with your Physiotherapist
How do i join a Telehealth appointment?
We use a program called Coviu. We’ve chosen this platform because it is used by some of the leading healthcare providers in Australia. Coviu is easy to use and doesn’t require you to sign up to it. It’s simple and safe.
Once we have confirmed your Telehealth appointment time, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to the session. The email will have a big red button that says click here to 'join the call'.
Is there anything i need to check before starting my Telehealth Appointment ?
You will need to:
Ensure your internet is working
Ensure that your Laptop, Computer or ipad have an inbuilt camera, speaker and microphone
Ensure that you have time to spend with your Physiotherapist, just as you would if you were attending a face to face appointment.
If you are booked in for a virtual exercise session please ensure that you have read our safety instructions, cleared your environment and have the required equipment before your Telehealth session starts.
